Dr Robert Marcus, MA, FRCP, FRCPath is a Consultant Haematologist working at LOC Harley St and Chelsea, and London Bridge Hospital.

He qualified in Medicine from University College Hospital Medical School in London in 1977 and specialised in haematology at the Royal Postgraduate Medical School and the Royal Free Hospital.He was appointed Consultant Haematologist in Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge in 1987 where he established the regional bone marrow transplant unit and developed particular expertise in lymphoma and other haematological malignancies. He moved to Kings College Hospital in 2008 where he remained as Consultant Haematologist until 2017 when he left the NHS after 40 years service, 30 at Consultant level, to work solely in the private sector

Dr Marcus’ research interests include the development of novel therapies for lymphoma, where he has been Chief investigator in a large number of practice-changing studies. More recently he developed further expertise in the management of Cerebral Lymphoma and Lymphoproliferative disorders in patients with HIV and after organ transplantation.

Dr Marcus was chairman of the NCRI low-grade lymphoma working for the party and has been an examiner for the Royal College of Pathologists. He is a medical advisor to ' Lymphoma Action' and Vice President of 'Leukaemia Care'.

Dr Marcus has authored more than 150 peer-reviewed manuscripts and reviews, including national guidelines on follicular, cerebral and post-transplant lymphoma. He has co-edited or contributed to 4 books, including the most recent edition of Post Graduate Haematology and textbooks on Multiple Myeloma and Lymphoma

Professor Paul Fields is a Consultant Haematologist working at London Bridge Hospital and Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Trust. His specialist interests are in the diagnosis and treatment of lymphoma, lymphoproliferative disorders, and general haematology. His specialist postgraduate
haematology training was undertaken in London at University College Hospital and Royal Free Hospitals. He undertook an MRC funded PhD in immunology and genetics in the UK and US, for which he was awarded two young investigator awards. He has published extensively in lymphoma and led the development of new treatments for lymphoma which are used across the world.

Professor Fields has led the Clinical Lymphoma Service at Guy’s and St Thomas` for over 18 years and is the Chair of the Regional Sector Multidisciplinary meeting for the treatment and management of patients diagnosed with lymphoma. His current research interests are in developing new effective therapies for patients with lymphoma, and he has led 4 UK trials as Chief Investigator. He has published extensively with over 90 peer reviewed publications, and written national and international guidelines for the treatment of lymphoma. He is medical advisor to “Lymphoma Action” and has lectured on national patient conferences for the treatment of lymphoma. He is a member of the national UK Lymphoma Clinical Studies Group and currently is leading the development of new UK trial treatment for Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma.

Dr Gupta is the Clinical Director for Haematology and Cancer at Lewisham and Greenwich NHS hospital. He is the principal investigator of TACTIC CoVID trial . Dr Gupta now taking patients at London Bridge Hospital also. Dr Gupta is a clinician with experience in clinical and laboratory haematology spanning more than 21 years. He obtained training at Kings College Hospital, London; Royal North Shore Hospital, Australia; National University Hospital (NUH), Singapore; and All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), India. He obtained CCST from London Deanery at Kings College Hospital. His clinical research was on anthracycline toxicity in children suffering from acute lymphoblastic leukaemia.

As an academic, he is deeply interested in teaching and research and he is an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at Brighton and Sussex medical school. In 2011, Dr Gupta became a consultant haematologist. He is specialised in haematology and oncology, with a deep interest in clotting disorders and anaemias. He was the lead research and development (R and D) in haematology at East Sussex healthcare, as well as at Lewisham and Greenwich NHS trust. He diagnoses and treats a variety of primary blood disorders (Clotting disorders, Bleeding disorders and Anaemias). Part of his services includes inpatient and outpatient chemotherapies for Multiple Myeloma, Lymphomas, Chronic Lymphocytic Leukaemia and Chronic Myeloid Leukaemia.

Dr. Gupta is also into day case and inpatient blood transfusion and iron infusion. Dr Gupta provides consultations at all the major private hospitals in and around Bromley and Orpington. He is on the panel of all the major health insurance providers. He belongs to the British Society of Haematology, European Haematology Association, Medical Protection Society and the American Society of Haematology. He is associated with some charitable organizations in the UK and in India. The awards he has received include the prestigious Glory of India award based on his academic and social contributions. He is a deep sports enthusiast and fitness freak. Based on his accreditation as a Yoga teacher, he holds weekly classes in Bromley. He married Dr Meenal Gupta, a renowned histo-pathologist, and their marriage produced two lovely daughters. Dr Robinson qualified at King’s College London and completed specialist training at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust. She completed post-graduate research at King’s College London and was awarded an MRes. She has been a consultant haematologist at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust since 2010.

She is the lead consultant for patient blood management, pre-operative and post-operative correction of anaemia, transfusion medicine, immune thrombocytopenia and obstetric haematology (anaemia, thrombocytopenia, thrombosis, antiphospholipid syndrome, myeloproliferative neoplasms in pregnancy).

She is a member of the British Society of Haematology and the British Blood Transfusion Society. She is chair of the British Society of Haematology Transfusion Task Force, co-chair National Blood Transfusion Committee anaemia working group, writing group member NICE Transfusion Guidelines, specialist committee member NICE quality standards for transfusion.

She has published over 30 peer-reviewed papers, book chapters and articles and lectures throughout the UK and internationally.

He is the UK Lead for transplantation in autoimmune diseases for The European Group for Blood and Marrow Transplantation (EBMT) and is a professional member of the American Society of Haematology (ASH). He remains involved in Medical Education and lectures extensively to other healthcare professionals.

Dr Siamak Arami is a Consultant Haematologist at London North West University Healthcare trust since 2015 and an honorary senior clinical lecturer in haematology for Imperial College London, previously holding a post as a consultant haematologist in Kings College Hospital in London, developing a particular interest in leukaemia and myeloproliferative disorders. Dr Arami also pioneered the digital chemotherapy healthcare solution project in Kings College hospital and monitored the very first patient in UK with chemotherapy healthcare application on Apple technology.

He has been an investigator in a large number of practice-changing national and international trials with publications in international peer-reviewed journals . Dr Arami is the lead for myeloproliferative disorders and chronic myeloid leukaemia at London North West University Healthcare NHS trust. Dr Donal McLornan is a Consultant in Haematology and Stem Cell Transplantation, clinically specialising in Haemato-oncology and Stem Cell Transplantation. He has a particular interest in Myeloproliferative Disorders, Myelodysplasia, Acute Myeloid Leukaemia and Allogeneic Stem Cell Transplantation. Dr McLornan’s interests led him to lead the Myeloid Disorders MDM across South East London and to be part of the NCRI MPN working group. He is the current chair of the MPN subcommittee of the Chronic Malignancy Working Party of EBMT. 

He has extensive clinical trial expertise and is the Chief Investigator or Principal Investigator of multiple clinical trials in the field of MPN.

Dr McLornan graduated in 1999 from Queen’s University Belfast with Honours, undertaking a further one-year period in Hammersmith Hospital, specialising in Allogeneic and Autologous Stem Cell Transplantation for post-graduate training. During this post-graduate training, he was awarded a prestigious MRC fellowship and completed a PhD investigating drug resistance in Acute Myeloid Leukaemia for which he received several awards. He has also authored over 80 papers and has a special research interest in Myeloproliferative Disease. He is currentlty supervising two MD sutudents. He is a member of EHA, EBMT and BSH, while regularly speaking internationally on MPN, MDS and allogeneic SCT.

Dr David Wrench MA, MBBChir, FRCPath, PhD is a Consultant Haemato-oncologist working at London Bridge Hospital and Guy’s & St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust. His specialist interest is in the diagnosis and treatment of lymphoma. He graduated in medicine from Cambridge University and underwent specialist haematology training in London, including St Bartholomew’s, Hammersmith and Royal Free Hospitals. He completed a PhD at Barts Cancer Institute and has published lead scientific papers in lymphoma.

David has led a rapid access diagnostic service for patients who have lumps or masses or other symptoms suspicious for cancer. He is also a haematology lead for clinical governance including patient safety and is lead haematology doctor for a collaborative Mind and Body programme in Kings Health Partners to help patient well-being.

His current research interests include the aggressive transformation of lymphoma as well as clinical trials of novel therapeutic approaches and his clinical interests include haematology, lymphoma, haematological malignancies and rapid access diagnostic and lumps clinic.

Dr Ian Gabriel is a Consultant Haematologist and the Lead Clinician at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital and he is also a Stem Cell (Bone Marrow) Transplant Consultant at Imperial College. Dr Gabriel sees patients privately at a number of locations, including the Lister and the London Bridge Hospitals.

Dr Gabriel qualified in medicine from St Mary’s Hospital Medical School – Imperial College in 1999 and completed specialist training in haematology in London. He has a Joint Consultant position with Imperial College NHS Healthcare Trust (Hammersmith Hospital) where he specialises in haemato-oncology (myeloma) and stem cell transplantation and at Chelsea and Westminster, where he leads the service for blood cancers, including myeloma, lymphoma, myelodysplasia and leukaemia. He completed research for his PhD in transplant immunology.

Dr Gabriel is also one of the leading clinicians for stem cell treatment for multiple sclerosis, leading the service at Imeprial College. He is a founding member of the European Consortium for Stem Cell Mobilisation (ECOSM), a member of the European Blood and Marrow Transplant Group (EBMT) autoimmune disease and acute leukaemia working parties. He is also primary and co-investigator on a number of national and international clinical trials in haematology. Further he runs a general haematology clinic, including for anti-coagulation conditions. He has published numerous peer reviewed papers on lymphoma, myeloma, leukaemia and HIV haematology, in addition to those on stem cell transplantation and authored a number of book chapters.
