Mr Pranav Pandya graduated in medicine in 1988 from University College London and has experience spanning over 15 years in Fetal Medicine. He currently works as a Consultant in Fetal Medicine at The Institute for Women’s Health, University College London Hospitals (UCLH) Foundation Trust. He also works as an Honorary Senior Lecturer.
Pranav is wholeheartedly committed to providing the best care for both pregnant women and their babies. He is particularly interested in high-risk and complicated pregnancies, and to this extent, he has completed extensive research into screening for fetal aneuploidy and fetal medicine.
As an avid proponent of education, Pranav is heavily involved in teaching and established a number of courses to support the training of doctors, including "Amniocentesis Workshop", "Dilemmas in Obstetric Ultrasound", "Basic Obstetric Ultrasound", "Screening for fetal anomalies in the First Trimester", "Cardiac anomalies in the First trimester – Diagnosis and management".
He was also nominated by the Times as one of the UK's leading consultants treating young patients in Britain.

Chair of Fetal Anomaly Screening Programme (FASP) and Down’s Syndrome Screening Programme Advisory Group at the National Screening Committee (NSC). Responsible for developing, implementing and auditing policies for the screening of fetal anomalies and Down’s syndrome in England.
