Mr Dwivedi is active in research and has led several research projects in the UK and overseas. His PhD entitled ‘Head and Neck Surgery’ was undertaken at the Royal Marsden Hospital and the Institute of Cancer Research and was awarded several prizes. Mr Dwivedi has won over 15 national and international awards throughout his career and has published over 85 scientific papers in peer-reviewed journals. He has also contributed to more than 20 book chapters and co-founded the book series ‘Head and Neck Cancer Clinics.’


In addition, Mr Dwivedi is an editor for several journals and has been a reviewer for numerous peer-reviewed journals including BMJ, JNCI, and Surgical Oncology. He is also on the faculty of a number of national and international ENT & head and neck courses and meetings and regularly lectures on a global scale.

Professor Palazzo is clinical lead consultant in endocrine surgery at Hammersmith Hospital, the UK's largest endocrine surgical service. He specialises in thyroid, parathyroid and adrenal surgery.

Mr Palazzo qualified in medicine in 1992 and undertook surgical training on the Cambridge & North East London rotations. He is one of the largest volume Endocrine surgeons in the uk. He currently performs over 300 Thyroid and Parathyroid procedures per year and has performed 1500 parathyroid procedures. He performs around 40 adrenal operations per year. He is an examiner for the European Board of Endocrine Surgery and has examined for the UK MRCS. 

Amongst multiple publications and book chapters, Johnathan edited the textbook entitled ‘Principle and Practice of Endocrine Surgery’ with contributors from the UK, Europe, USA & Asia. Mr Oikonomou is a consultant head and neck oncology surgeon who gained his MD from the University of Ioannina, Greece, in 2005, before becoming a military doctor in the Hellenic Army. He taught physiology at the 1st Vocational Training Institute (IEK) for 6 months and later undertook a fellowship in children's otolaryngology at the Children's Hospital Armand Trousseau in France.
