Dr Brian Clapp is a highly regarded Consultant Cardiologist who offers care in both general cardiology and interventional and structural cardiology. Dr Clapp is based as a Consultant Cardiologist and Senior Lecturer at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust, where he also provides private care. He also offers private services at The London Bridge Hospital. Dr Clapp has extensive experience and skill in all aspects of coronary intervention (angioplasty) and his experience includes the assessment and closure of atrial septal defects and patent foramen ovale, including for cryptogenic strokes.

After graduating with an honours degree from the University of Cambridge in 1991, followed by a medical degree from University College London in 1994, Dr Clapp went on to complete extensive training in a number of teaching hospitals around London. He achieved a PhD from the University of London thanks to a British Heart Foundation Fellowship, during which his research focus was in the association between inflammation and acute cardiac arrest. In 2005, Dr Clapp completed his specialist cardiology training with a significant focus on coronary and structural intervention. Dr Clapp is also passionate about cardiac diving medicine and is even registered on the Health and Safety Executive Register as a secondary specialist with an interest in diving.

Dr. Rodney Foale is a Consultant Cardiologist at The Harley Street Clinic. His main clinical interests are general adult cardiology, arrhythmia, hypertension and percutaneous interventional treatment of coronary artery disease. He specialises in angioplasty - a procedure that can open up a blocked blood vessel in the arteries using a tiny stent.

Dr. Rodney Foale was an Honours graduate from the University of Melbourne, Australia in 1971. He completed further training at St Vincent's Hospital, Melbourne, before travelling to India to work in rural Madras and Kashmir. After a training programme based in the UK at the Hammersmith and Royal London Hospitals, he took up the Registrar's post at the National Heart Hospital. He then spent two years at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, USA before returning to his Senior Registrar's post at the Hammersmith Hospital in London. In 1985 he was appointed as Consultant Cardiologist at St. Mary's Hospital, London. He then became the Clinical Director of Surgery, which incorporates Cardiovascular Medicine and Intensive Care. He is also the Co-Director of the International Centre for Circulatory Health (ICCH) which supports research at St Mary's Hospital-Imperial College.

Dr Sam Firoozi is a Consultant Interventional Cardiologist at St George’s Hospital in London. He graduated in 1995 from Guy’s & St Thomas’ Hospitals Medical School and subsequently completed his medical and cardiology training in several London teaching hospitals. In 1999 he was awarded a British Heart Foundation Fellowship enabling clinical research into heart muscle disease and sports cardiology at St George’s University of London.

Between 2002 and 2008, Dr Firoozi completed training in general and interventional cardiology, including an interventional cardiology fellowship at St George’s Hospital. This lead to his appointment as consultant general and interventional cardiologist in 2009. He has a special interest in high-risk coronary intervention and structural heart intervention, including TAVI. He has developed a very high-volume interventional practice and regularly consults a large number of patients.

Dr Firoozi is also involved in higher medical education for undergraduate and postgraduate students and has run training courses. He is also an active member of several organisations including The British Cardiovascular Society (BCS) and The British Cardiac Interventional Society (BCIS) and a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicans.
