Professor Jarrod Homer is a highly experienced Consultant ENT and Head & Neck Surgeon based at the Manchester Royal Infirmary. He has been a consultant for almost 20 years. His practice focuses on thyroid problems, the assessment of neck lumps, and the diagnosis and surgery for head and neck (including thyroid) cancers.

He has an interest in the assessment of patients with throat problems and was one of the first surgeons in the UK performing neck ultrasound and ultrasound guided needle biopsy. In addition to this, Prof Homer has a lot of experience in cosmetic rhinoplasty work and he has completed over 1000 procedures successfully.

Throughout his tenure, Prof Homer has published in over 100 peer-reviewed journals and has been awarded over £1.5m in research grants. In addition to this, Prof Homer has been recognized on a national level for his work.
