Dr Ghazavi has been a dermatologist for more than fifteen years. Before that, he worked closely with the World Health Organisation regional office on Cutaneous Leishmaniasis in Iran for five years. He has 30 publications and quite a few presentations in national and international conferences on skin conditions such as paediatric skin diseases, skin cancer, allergic contact dermatitis, and hair loss.

He is a member of the professional organisations including the BAD (British Association of Dermatologists), EADV (European Academy of Dermatology and Venerology), RSM (Royal Society of Medicine) and Royal College of Physicians.

He has worked closely with the NICE (National Institute of Clinical Excellence) to support developing new guidelines for Hidradenitis Suppurativa and the UKDCTN (UK Dermatology Clinical Trial Network) to help with national research projects on skin diseases.

Mahammad is married to Rozita, who is a scientist researching cancer and ageing process. They have a lovely 5-year-old daughter who entertained them with her cute speech and a lot of questions, especially before her bedtime.

He loves playing tennis, swimming, and horse riding, and if his workload allows him, he would like to practice playing guitar more regularly.

Overall, he is a pleasant chap with an excellent bedside manner, which makes you feel at ease during your consultation.

Dr Clive Archer is a senior NHS Consultant in Dermatology at the renowned St John’s Institute of Dermatology and Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust and Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at King's College London (KCL).  Prior to returning to the St John's Institute of Dermatology in 2010, he was Consultant Dermatologist and Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer at the University of Bristol (1989-2010).

Dr Archer is a highly trained and very experienced Consultant in Dermatology, with an extensive track record of over 200 clinical and research publications and four books on Clinical Investigation of Skin Disorders, Ethnic Dermatology - Clinical Problems and Skin Pigmentation, and The Handbook of Systemic Drug Treatment in Dermatology.

Dr Adil Sheraz graduated from St Bartholomew’s and the Royal London Hospital School of Medicine in 2005 where he also intercalated and obtained a BSc in Molecular Therapeutics. His training in General Medicine took place in various London hospitals and he gained Membership of the Royal College of Physicians in 2010.

He undertook specialist dermatology training in the Kent, Surrey and Sussex rotation and gained further dermatological experience from working at the prestigious institutes of King’s College Hospital and completed part of his training at St John’s Institute of Dermatology, St Thomas’, London. After obtaining his Specialty Certificate Examination in dermatology, Dr Sheraz worked as a consultant in Kent before moving to his current substantive post as a consultant at the Royal Free NHS Trust.

Dr Sheraz is on the specialist register and his interests include skin cancer, skin surgery, psoriasis, general adult dermatology, acne and allergy. He teaches and lectures regularly to undergraduates and post graduates and has been an examiner for the dermatology section for medical students at King’s College Hospital.

His work has been published in various journals and he has presented in multiple national and international conferences which include the British Association of Dermatology Annual Conference and also the American Academy of Dermatology. 

Dr Sheraz appears regularly as an expert on television shows including Dr Christian Will See You Now and Dr Christian: Special Clinics. He has also appeared on news shows including the BBC discussing the dangers of counterfeit makeup. He is a spokesperson for the British Skin Foundation and provides input and advice regarding various topical dermatological issues.
