Dr Sheena McRae is a General Practitioner and Medical Doctor at Roodlane Medical who has worked full-time in the City since the summer of 2000. She has an excellent pedigree in medicine having previously spent six years looking after a broad range of both private patients and corporate clients across London. Her experience covers interests including Accident and Emergency, obstetrics and gynaecology, and orthopaedics

Dr McRae trained at the Royal London and St. Mary's Hospitals, where she gained a first class honours degree in Physiology. In addition she has further qualifications in family planning, aviation medicine and, of course, occupational health.

Dr Peter Macfarlane is a General Practitioner who has worked in a wide range of positions in the UK since 2003, gaining experience in both NHS and private hospitals, general practice and other settings. He came to Roodlane after obtaining his MRCGP in 2009. Since working in the City, Peter has developed an interest in Occupational Medicine and obtained his Diploma in 2012. He has also developed an interest in sports medicine, mental health, dermatology and addictions.

Dr Macfarlane graduated from the University of the Witwatersrand in 1987 and after postgraduate training, spent time in Sports Medicine at Cape Town, where he obtained a BSc degree in Sports Science. He combined an interest in Sports Medicine with his General Practice in Cape Town over several years, attending to individuals and teams up to international level, and has toured with the South African cricket team.

Dr Jessica Briscoe graduated from Peninsula School of Medicine and Dentistry in 2010. She spent the majority of her working years in and around London, gaining experience in a wide variety of hospital specialties including urology, vascular surgery, cardiology, neurology and cancer medicine.

As well as General Practice, Dr Briscoe has developed a special interest in Headache. She has expertise in the management of all headache varieties including migraine and cluster headache and is keen to manage these in a holistic way. Her other interests include Women’s Health and Paediatrics.

Dr Gavin Webb-Wilson graduated from Cambridge, joining the original Lloyds practice in 1979 before becoming a founder partner of the present practice in 1991. He is involved in all aspects of City medicine with long-standing interests in stress related disorders and psychological medicine. He has particular expertise in the field of life and health insurance, specialising in disability assessment and high risk life underwriting. He is a Fellow of the Assurance Medical Society and chief medical officer to Scottish Re Insurance.

Dr Webb-Wilson is also a specialist in gynaecology working from the practice at Roodlane Medical and London Bridge hospital. He is also, an approved examiner for the Maritime and Coastguard Agency under the Merchant Shipping Regulations for the UK and an approved examiner for Oil & Gas UK offshore workers.

Dr Amanda Bhandari is an experienced Primary Care Physician and has worked in HCA since 2013. 

She achieved her primary medical qualification (MBBS) in 2004 from the United Medical and Dental Schools of Guy’s and St Thomas’s Hospitals (UMDS). During her time as an undergraduate she attained an additional BSc in Physiology from Kings College London. She holds postgraduate specialist qualifications namely the Diploma of the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and the Diploma of the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Health. 

She gained experience in a wide variety of hospital specialities including Obstetrics and Gynaecology, ENT, Accident and Emergency, Breast Surgery, Upper GI Surgery, General Medicine, Stroke and Diabetes. She completed the Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners in 2009. 

She has special interests in Family Medicine, Health Screening, Preventative Medicine, Women’s Health, Fertility, Sexual Health and Paediatrics. 

In her free time she continues to work with Kings College, both teaching and examining Undergraduate Medical Students. 

Dr Niaz Khan is passionate about delivering high quality and innovative care in General Practice. After graduating from Bart's and the London medical school in 2004, he worked in an extensive number of hospital specialties before completing his GP training at Kings College, attaining the MRCGP.

Over the past few years, he has gained extensive experience within General Practice as well as postgraduate teaching and GP training. He also held the post of regional lead for cancer in South London, and has developed a specialist interest in skin disorders, having recently been awarded a distinction for the London postgraduate dermatology diploma. Dr Khan joined General Medical Clinics in 2012, which merged with Roodlane Medical the following year. He then developed an interest in occupational medicine and obtained his diploma in 2014. He is an approved examiner for UK Oil & Gas medical examinations.
