Dr Diana Holdright's clinical practice encompasses all aspects of adult cardiology, in particular the management of ischaemic heart disease (angina and heart attacks), the role of percutaneous coronary intervention (coronary angioplasty/stenting and coronary artery bypass grafting), the heart:brain interface, the management of valvular heart disease and heart failure, the investigation and treatment of heart rhythm disorders such as atrial fibrillation, and cardiovascular risk factor assessment. She also has a particular interest in autonomic dysfunction and multidisciplinary conditions such as PoTS.

Dr Holdright was key in establishing coronary angioplasty as the first-line treatment in the management of myocardial infarction (heart attack), leading to the institution of Heart Attack Centres across London and the UK. She also spent many years as cardiologist to the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery where she gained significant experience in many areas including managing blackouts and dizzy spells, the cardiac causes of stroke and assessing cardiac risk in epilepsy.
