Dr George Webster is a Consultant Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist at University College London (UCLH) and Royal Free London Hospitals and clinical lead in hepatopancreaticobiliary medicine at UCLH. He qualified from the Royal Free in 1991 and undertook his specialist training in gastroenterology, hepatology and endoscopy in London (Royal Free, Barts and The London, and UCLH), and Sydney.

Dr Webster sees patients with all aspects of liver, biliary, pancreatic and general gastroenterological conditions. He is actively involved in teaching nationally and internationally, including directing the annual London Live Endoscopy, the BSG Endoscopy Live 2017, 2019, and the inaugural UK IgG4-related disease symposium 2019. He is actively involved in research and has published more than 100 peer-review papers, and book chapters including in the Oxford Textbook of Medicine.

Dr Nowlan Selvapatt is a Consultant Hepatologist and Gastroenterologist working at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. He regularly performs diagnostic and therapeutic upper GI endoscopies (OGD) and diagnostic colonoscopy including removal of polyps. 

Dr Selvapatt’s research interests currently centre around aspects of care for patients with cirrhosis. He is currently involved in investigator led research studies and publishing original research in peer review journals as well as presentations at international conferences. 

When not working, he enjoys sport, cycling and spending time with his young family.
