Professor Angus Dalgleish studied medicine at University College London where he obtained an MBBS and a BSc in Anatomy. He is a Fellow of The Royal College of Physicians of the UK and Australia, Royal College of Pathologists and The Academy of Medical Scientists. After graduating and house jobs in London and Poole, he spent a year in the flying doctor service in Queensland. He also trained in Internal Medicine and Oncology in Brisbane and Sydney. Having developed an interest in how viruses caused cancer, he commenced an MD with Professor Robin Weiss, FRS at the Institute of Cancer Research and Royal Marsden Hospital.

Following five years as a clinical scientist at the MRC's clinical research centre in Northwick Park, Professor Dalgleish was appointed to the Foundation Chair in Oncology at the St George's University of London in 1991. There his main interest has been the immunology of cancer and the development of immunotherapies to treat, in particular, melanoma. He is a co-founder of Onyvax, a company set up in 1998 to make novel vaccines for common solid tumours, where he is currently Research Director.

Professor Dalgleish currently sits on eight editorial boards and is the author or co-author of peer-reviewed scientific papers and over 70 chapters in medical books. He is the co-editor of five medical books and has been on numerous grant committees and is currently on the European Commission Cancer Board.

Professor Jonathan Waxman trained at University College and University College Hospital, London, in common with a number of other consultants practising at LOC. He was the recipient of several scholarships and prizes as an undergraduate and postgraduate. He is currently Professor of Oncology at Imperial College London and consultant to the Department of Oncology at Hammersmith Hospital, for whom he played the central role in the campaign to build the Hammersmith Cancer Centre.

Dr David Propper is a Consultant Medical Oncologist based at Barts and The London NHS Trust, with specialist interests in Breast, Colorectal (Large Bowel), Hepatobiliary, Oesophagus & Stomach oncology. Dr Gemma Eminowicz is a Consultant Clinical Oncologist based in London. She specialises in the treatment of gynaecological cancers (cervical, endometrial, vulval and vaginal) and the delivery of brachytherapy. She also has a clinical interest in complex targeted radiotherapy delivery using image guidance and adaptive techniques as well as the use of imaging biomarkers during chemo-radiotherapy.

After completing her degree in Medicine at the University of Birmingham in 2004, she undertook specialist training in Oncology and attained a Fellowship with the Royal College of Radiologists in 2011. She was awarded MD(Res) from University College London (UCL) in 2016 for her work on optimisation of cervical cancer radiotherapy. Following this she was appointed a Substantive Consultant and Brachytherapy Lead initially at Imperial College Healthcare Trust. She then moved University College London Hospital, where she is still based.

Alongside her clinical work, Dr Eminowicz is actively involved in oncology research and has worked on a number of international clinical trials. She also is undertaking a study investigating the role of PET-MRI in patients undergoing chemoradiation for cervical cancer. She has presented her work at international both national and international meetings, and has also been published in a number of key oncology journals and book chapters. Dr Eminowicz is an Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer at UCL and a member of the NCRI Gynaecological Oncology CSG.

Hani Gabra is Professor of Medical Oncology at Imperial College London, based at its Hammersmith Campus. His clinical work in conducted at a number of sites including the Hammersmith Hospital and the Queen Charlotte Hospital for Women. Mr Tomas Rosenbaum is a Consultant Urologist at London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust and he also sees patients privately, including at The Princess Grace Hospital, The Portland Hospital and HCA Chiswick Medical Centre. He specialises in both general and paediatric urology, including prostate disease; blood in the urine; urine infections; kidney stones and colic; vasectomy; urinary incontinence; scrotal pain and swelling; phimosis; circumcision and baby circumcision.

Mr Rosenbaum was appointed a Consultant Urological Surgeon at Ealing Hospital in 1997 and has developed a local high quality urological service including clinics in general urology, uro-oncology, prostate disease, urinary incontinence, erectile dysfunction and the fast track haematuria service. He also supported the expansion of the Endoscopy Unit into a fully video flexible unit and continues expanding the role of minimally invasive urological surgery. Mr Rosembaum underwent basic medical training in Buenos Aires, Argentina, followed by a second medical degree and surgical training in the UK. He is on the editorial board of a number of speciality journals and also lectures regularly.
