Mr Vincent Tang is a Consultant Urological and Robotic surgeon based at Stockport NHS Foundation Trust, he is also a Consultant at Tameside, Macclesfield and Leighton Hospitals. He is trained in general urology and sub-specialised in pelvic oncology (Prostate and Bladder cancer) and robotic surgery, offering general urology as well as complex urological cancer management, particularly using robotic technique.

Mr Tang graduated from St George's Hospital Medical School, London in 2001, going on to complete his specialist Urological surgery training in the North West Deanery of England and develop his urological oncology expertise in open & minimal invasive surgical skills (Laparoscopic and Robotic) by training in high volume urology cancer centers in the UK including The Christie Hospital and Stockport NHS Foundation Trust. Mr Tang further developed his Robotic surgery skills with a 1 year dedicated da Vinci robotic surgery Fellowship at the Royal Melbourne Hospital and Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre (Victorian Comprehensive Cancer Centre), Melbourne, Australia. He also spent time in Belgium and completed the European Robotic Urology Section (ERUS) certified Robotic Radical Prostatectomy curriculum. He subsequently practiced as a Urologist at The Canberra Hospital, Australia, where he provided general urology and complex urological cancer surgical service.

Mr Tang remains active in academic research and has over 50 publications and presentations, while also dedicating time to his role as a journal reviewer for a number of international Urology journals. He has also won multiple awards including the Ethicon Foundation travelling fund, The Urology Foundation clinical visit fund and Prostate Cancer UK education bursary.

He was appointed as a Consultant at The Christie in 2018. 

Mr Clouston is actively involved in clinical research, and has a particular interest in into finding biomarkers for the development of venous thrombosis after colorectal surgery. He is a Chief Investigator on the multicentre randomised controlled trial SUNRRISE , which is investigating the effect that negative pressure dressings have on preventing surgical site infections

Professor Gareth Evans is a Consultant Geneticist, based at Manchester University NHS Trust and he also sees patients privately at The Christie Private Care. He has gained a national and international reputation for his work in the clinical and research aspects of cancer genetics, particularly in neurofibromatosis and breast cancer. He has developed a clinical service for cancer genetics in the North West of England, which is nationally held in high regard and he is an important opinion leader on hereditary breast cancer and cancer syndromes, lecturing both in the UK and abroad.

He has also developed a national training programme for clinicians, nurses and genetic counsellors in breast cancer genetics and established a system for risk assessment and counselling for breast cancer. Further, Professor Evans has published some 810 peer-reviewed research publications, with  293 as first or senior author and over 180 on neurofibromatosis. He has also led a successful bid for a nationally funded NF2 service - £7.5 million per year - that started in 2010.
