Dr Tabish Saifee, Consultant Neurologist, is currently working within The National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, Queen Square and in the London North West Healthcare University NHS Trust. He is highly specialised in treating people with a vast range of neurological conditions, with a specific interest in movement disorders (including tremors).

Dr Saifee is also an active educator, holding the position of Honorary Senior Lecturer at UCL Institute of Neurology, one of the best institutions worldwide for the teaching of neuroscience. It was placed 2nd in the most recent ranking. He also trains postgraduate neurologists, receiving multiple awards for his efforts. Dr Janssen, Consultant Neurologist has been based at Chelsea and Westminster, Royal Brompton, and Charing Cross Hospitals since 2005. He is a highly experienced neurologist with a wealth of knowledge in headaches, migraine, stroke, memory issues, and a range of other neurological conditions.

As well as being a consultant, he has also served as Clinical Lead for the TIA and Neurology service at Chelsea and Westminster Hospitals. In 2015, he was designated service director at Chelsea and Westminster Hospitals for neurology and stroke. Additionally, he provides expert advice for the acute neurology service in Brompton Hospital and is an active contributor to the Charing Cross stroke service (the leading service for hyperacute strokes in the UK). He is a GMC accredited trainer and a keen mentor and teacher of trainee doctors and colleagues. He is also a co-chair for the HCA joint neurology and neuro-rehabilitation council.

Krista Farrell is a consultant neurologist at the West Hertfordshire NHS Trust and the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery. She set up the acute neurology outpatient service at West Herts and manages patients with a wide range of neurological conditions.

Dr Farrell completed her undergraduate medical training at Trinity College, Cambridge and has an MA in Experimental Psychology. She completed her higher specialist training in teaching hospitals in Cambridge and London and was a research fellow at the Cambridge Centre for Brain Repair. Her research was on biomarkers and novel therapeutics for Parkinson’s Disease, and she currently serves as a clinical advisor for the charity Parkinson’s Care and Support U.K.


Dr Farrell maintains a keen interest in education having taught for several years in both Cambridge and London. She currently coordinates the teaching programme for junior neurologists at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery and lectures on a Royal College of Physicians medical course. She is also involved in the development of the undergraduate neurology curriculum at Brunel University Medical School.
