Dr Punit Ramrakha is a Consultant Cardiologist with over 20 years of experience. He specialises in arrhythmia, blackouts and dizziness, chest pain, cholesterol, coronary artery disease, echocardiogram, heart failure, hypertension, pacemaker, palpitations and stroke. He is based at the Stoke Mandeville Hospital, Wycombe General Hospital, and the Hammersmith Hospital.
Punit graduated from Cambridge and Oxford Universities, and completed his general medicine training at various centres of excellence in London, including Hammersmith Hospital, Royal Brompton Hospital, St Thomas’s Hospital and National Hospital Queen Square. After this, he undertook his specialist cardiology training at St. Mary’s Hospital, London and was appointed Consultant Cardiologist in 2002, at the Buckinghamshire Hospitals NHS Trust in 2002.
Dr Ramrakha is also well established in the scientific research community, authoring various medical textbooks, such as the Oxofrd Handbook of Clinical Medicine, as well as peer reviewed
