More recently in 2017, he became the first surgeon to perform REZUM therapy for benign prostatic hyperplasia. This innovative minimally invasive procedure uses steam therapy to reduce an enlarged prostate. Professor Hindley has performed over 500 of these procedures and offers them both privately and on as part of his NHS service.
